Thought I would share some more the on going unfolding of this time of an open door that has been set before us in our group of Native followers of Christ. It will be interesting to watch the world series and see who makes it and who wins.
The meeting in August was good for many who came. The morning that we left the Lord gave me a dream. A group of us were looking up at an Eagle flying above and it came closer to the ground and landed. When it landed it turned into a person who was Jesus and began to do an Eagle dance. Immediately a verse came to mind;
Mal 4:2 “ But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings;”
The Eagle in Ojibwe culture and story is the bird that flew to talk to the Creator. Many traditional natives believe the eagle speaks to the Creator carrying there prayers through the tobacco smoked. We know that for us the Eagle is Christ.
The Lord did confirm His covenant to heal the Native Americans by the feather in the cloud. When I mention healing that is to include spirit, soul and body being made whole.

Up to this day many of the meetings were mixed with flesh and Spirit. One could not give a prophecy if led to until it was first submitted to the intercessors. Whom would judge if it was of the Lord. Yet that did not stop the leaders as they could freely prophecy. Yet God meant it all for good and we just ministered unto the Lord.
DECREE AT HEADWATERS
What was decreed at the headwaters was ;
Son 4:16 “Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.”
Just as Abram was put to sleep when God made covenant with him so also has the Native American Christians as a whole and this group in particular who represent them, have been put to sleep to the full implications of the covenant. For Abram for a time also did not understand the full implications of the covenant until God clarified for him the meaning as the new name was given Abram to be changed to Abraham. We find the covenant given in Genesis 15:18 with no name change yet.
Abram then tried in himself to bring forth the promise offspring, which spiritually is bringing forth the “Christ in you the hope of glory”, the “ man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron:” (Rev 12:5) So he birthed his Ishmael. It is when Abram was 90 years old that God changed his name and then was brought forth the promise through faith in Gods ability not mans.
The word Messabe means “Giant” and the Messabe Iron range is called the “land of the sleeping giant”. God spoke to me showing the correlation between this group at the gathering at Strawberry Lake who were rightly to make covenant with God, but who as yet were still asleep to Gods greater purpose, Zion in our heart, and the way the greater purpose would be fullfilled; “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Zec 4:6) They were as Abram when God first made covenant with him who was put to sleep for the New Covenant is one of Gods grace and His grace alone that the accomplishment of the covenant shall be brought forth.
For the location of the meeting in Minnesota, the 32nd state admitted into the union and 32 meaning covenant represented many things. It represents the true vision of the calling of the covenant which is the place of total rulership of the King in Zion in our hearts. It is for those who it will be said “have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” ( Psa 50:5 ) That is they have laid there own life down to take up His life His rulership in our hearts his throne. This is only accomplished by His working; “both to will and to do of his good pleasure.: (Phip 2:13)
Not by our trying as Abram did before His name change to bring forth the promised seed.
The purpose of the decree was to simply declare what the Lord was going to do and must needs do to send forth His fire to purge and purify which seals the covenant. For as stated before this year 2007 is the 120th anniversary of the discovery of the iron range. It was the 120 who were baptized with fire.
Act 2:1 -3 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
GODS WORKING IN THE REMNANT
One of the young children in our Creator Circle is named Joshua. He was born with polio but is able to walk . He was part of the drum group but recently has been felt led to dance. He prayed that God would provide him his regalia. So when his family went out to Montana this summer among some of his late grandfathers belonging stashed away were moccasins and a vest that was made some 60 years ago for his grandfather by some local Natives from Montana.
When he returned home a local brother in the group was asked by him to be his uncle. In native culture to be an uncle is much like a Godfather used to be for Catholics. He is to be one who helps to instruct the young man and looked at as one in authority to be listening to. Josh was also at this time to be the prayer dancer of the group. He was given a choker and a turtle rattle to be used in his dancing. The turtle rattle signifies the voice of the Creator as He spoke into existence His creation. At the circle when Josh was introduced as the prayer dancer and Bryon Jon his uncle, there was a give away to the males and females. Then we sang a worship song around the drum as Josh led the dancing with his newly acquired regalia.
About 2 weeks after this meeting Josh was gifted a bustle of Eagle feathers by a traditional elder of the Fon du lac Rez. He said he felt he was to give this away to a dancer whom has a innocent heart. The feathers are Eagle feathers and they total 31 in all. What stuck out to me was that when the children of Israel were led across the Jordan to possess there inheritance, they had to dispose of 31 Kings. So here we have this Joshua with 31 Eagle feathers on his bustle as a sign.
In the weeks ahead I have taped some of our meetings to help give an insight into the culturally appropriate Native worship that the Lord is opening up in this time of an open door.
